The Fat On The Skinny

So here's my forray into creative writing. And it'll go something like this: 

"A 50-post instalment about 5 friends navigating the college scene in their quest for love, life, and themselves"

In just 50 posts we'll figure this dating thing out. (Excluding this one of course) And can it ever be figured out? No. That's why writers have jobs, no one knows what the hell is going on. 

As a freelance writer of all sorts of genres I have all sorts of time on my hands and let me just tell you, writing for a living is insanely stressful. You're working toward a deadline for 2 weeks straight with a diet of Red Bull, coffee, saltines and gum wrappers. 

Remind me how the gum wrappers plays into this? 

And then the next thing you know, you've made deadline and it's wine bottles, socials and days without sleep celebrating. I should change this about myself...really. So I'm writing some fiction here, PURELY fiction.Just so you know, none of this is real. Granted, written work is based on life experiences so sure there is something to be said of how much of this parallels real life... In the interest of myself and those I care deeply about, I must state this clearly and BOLDLY!

I'm not actually writing about anyone I know rather, I am taking ARTISTIC LICENSE with the experiences I have been afforded in this lifetime to hopefully create a witty, heartfelt, gut-wrenching tale of what I think this life thing is all about. Don't take anything personally!  

So as always I'll give you the wittiest, wryest, grittiest, and most highly entertaining tale my highly imaginative tale can muster!
